Designer Alyssa Wasko created donni charm as an outlet to help her heal after her father passed away "he remains with me in everything I do, which is why I’m so proud to dedicate donni charm in his honor". Naming her line was the most heartfelt step; those close to her father called him “Donny,” and as her mother pointed out, Alyssa was his charm, thus “donni charm”.
